HELIX is the only manufacturer capable of producing axial and helical grooves across the entire length (up to 4000 mm) of bimetallic plated cylinders world-wide.

With this, HELIX provides manufacturers of plastics machinery the possibility of building modern, high-performance extruders and injection moulding machines with grooved cylinders in wear-protected versions.

Starting with a nominal diameter of 25 mm, the progression of the groove depth, the shape of the groove, the number of grooves and the pitch of the helical grooves can be freely selected.

Cylinders that are already in use can also still be grooved later on.
